BIOGRAPHY

I have been in the industry for over 20 years assisting individuals and their families with financial planning, wealth management, retirement planning and insurance needs.
I received my Bachelor of Science degree in both Business Management and Economics with a concentration in Finance from SUNY-Stony Brook and graduated in 2006.
I began my career working part time with Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. in 2005 while still a senior at SUNY-Stony Brook. After graduation in 2006, I began my full time career with Oppenheimer & Co. Inc., quickly acquiring my General Securities Representative License (Series 7), the Uniform Combined State Law Examination (Series 66) and the Life, Accident and Health Insurance Agent License (Series 10-55) and becoming a fully licensed financial advisor at the age of 22. After 5 years with Oppenheimer & Co. Inc., I decided to transition to larger firms where I would receive higher level training and experience. Between 2010-2013, I worked for Morgan Stanley and Wells Fargo continuing to expand my training, knowledge and experience in working with clients on their financial needs and goals.
After 7+ years of working for investment firms, I realized that I wanted to be able to greater assist clients with their banking and lending needs, so I transitioned to Capital One Bank working in their investment division. Under the umbrella of a bank, I now had access to bankers, mortgage and lending specialists and was able to assist my clients with all their financial needs. This also expanded my personal knowledge on these subjects and gave me a very well-rounded financial “wheelhouse” in helping clients with not just their investments and life/long term care insurance, but also giving guidance on bank accounts, CD’s, credit cards, mortgages, lines of credit and lending.
In 2018, Capital One made the decision to exit the investment business and transitioned the investment division to Woodbury Financial, an independent firm that was one of four firms owned by parent company Advisor Group. As a financial advisor for Woodbury Financial, I opened up my own office in Melville, NY, doing business as Ellipse Wealth Management, LLC., a personal “brand” for my practice which has a more personal meaning to me and my clients. By 2024, Advisor Group had grown our footprint from four firms to ten, more than doubling the size of our footprint. That year Advisor Group made the decision to combine all of the brokerage firms into one unified firm under one unified name which is Osaic Wealth, Inc. In addition to the training and resources provided by Osaic Wealth, Inc., I continue to enroll in industry courses and seminars to expand my knowledge for the benefit of my clients.
Away from the office, I also enjoy soccer, basketball, weight training and running. As a hobby, I enjoy restoring and modifying cars. My favorite pastimes include photography and travel. A native of Brazil, I am fluent in Portuguese.
